But another author you might enjoy is Felicity Young Bronnwyn Parry, Kathryn Fox, and PD Martin you would probably enjoy. Many of them aren't available in my city's library system.

Or, with some of the non-U.S. authors, they purchase one copy, put it in the main branch and make it noncirculating; this is aggravating.

So I'd have to buy some books from the infamous Book Depository or Amazon. I don't know what to get. I like good plots, stories, interesting characters, not much violence and not so action-packed that story, character or thought/introspection is lost.

I don't like books told from the psychopath's point of view, but I want to like the protagonist and uncover the suspect as he/she does. I like "whodunnits," private detectives and police procedurals, if they're interesting.

Any ideas?

Thanks for this great website.kathy d.noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-8273911883856580200.post-58746824728333994672010-08-31T11:54:10.380+09:302010-08-31T11:54:10.380+09:30That's great Craig - I feel a bit embarrassed ...That's great Craig - I feel a bit embarrassed that I haven't read more - I console myself with the thought that they are all recently published.Kerrie Smithhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/00566566401678723079noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-8273911883856580200.post-81319538439415293452010-08-31T10:15:38.674+09:302010-08-31T10:15:38.674+09:30I really enjoyed BLACK ICE, and I have SIREN and F...I really enjoyed BLACK ICE, and I have SIREN and FORBIDDEN FRUIT in my TBR pile. Looks like a good list of Aussie female-authored crime. I've heard great things about PD Martin too...Kiwicraighttps://www.blogger.com/profile/11687089028299093360noreply@blogger.com
