I've discovered that Amazon UK has an RSS feed of their top 25 Bestsellers in Crime, Thrillers & Mystery, that updates hourly.
The link is http://www.amazon.co.uk/rss/bestsellers/books/72/ref=pd_ts_rss_link
or you can just go to http://www.amazon.co.uk/gp/bestsellers/books/72/ref=pd_ts_b_nav
This morning's top 10 (of the 25) are
1. A Quiet Belief in Angels by R.J. Ellory
2. The Appeal by John Grisham
3. The Good Husband of Zebra Drive (No 1 Ladies Detective Agency 8) by Alexander McCall Smith
4. The Woods by Harlan Coben
5. 7th Heaven (Womens Murder Club 7) by James Patterson
6. World Without End by Ken Follett
7. A Spot of Bother by Mark Haddon
8. Strangers in Death by J.D. Robb
9. The Pillars of the Earth by Ken Follett
10. Cold in Hand by John Harvey
That's really useful, thanks -- I was aware of the list but not that it had an rss feed (probably I just didn't notice) -- I will sign up to it. Sometimes their prices are pretty good. Unsurprisingly the Richard and Judy selection is at the top of the list at the time you took your snapshot!
ReplyDeleteBy the way, I was not sure if you wanted a copy of my article on Nature and web 2.0 -- but when I tried to find your email address (via the edu blog you mentioned in your kind petrona comment as well as this one) I could not find it. If you want to send me your email address I'd be happy to send you a PDF of the article, if you'd like it-- but it is very specialist so I'd quite understand it if not!
