    I read the interview with Kirsty Brooks and thought it was interesting! Interesting enough to add her books to my TBR list. I hadn't heard of her before.

    Hello, Marg, how nice of you to say nice things about the interview. I was a bit worried I sounded, well, mental. But I am reassured... I hope you like the books. I am ashamed I didn't know much about the Matilda thing until the interview, now I've spent hours reading all the past interviews and reviews, it's a very good way to get recommendations, and information about books. And quite cheering for an australian author to discover a small keen, smart bunch of people doing things like this. Writing is such a solitary thing, I can get very unsociable and isolated at times, so it's nice to have things like this to read, and know there are people out there actually reading...

    Good to hear from you too Kirsty - I think this Snapshots thing is great and is certainly pointing me to people I haven't read. BTW I'm the Kerrie from Adelaide - we met at that Dymocks book club a couple of years ago, so you probably have no vision of me at all. There's a picture under mt Talking Books post on March 1 that may jiggle your memory a bit. My daughter Kathryn and I came together
