Why MYSTERIES? Because that is the genre I read. Why PARADISE? Because that is where I live.
Among other things, this blog, the result of a 2008 New Year's resolution, will act as a record of books that I've read, and random thoughts.

Waiting for the Book to Come In...
This cartoon from Unshelved hits the spot doesn't it? I have books on request from the library that the current borrower must have lost. I'm to be the next borrower, but that's been the case for at least a couple of months.
Hi Kerrie, strange coincidence or what? I just received the Michael Robotham book that you sent me. To be honest, I'd forgotten about it, so it was an extra nice surprise!!
Even more of a surprise, as I thought we were in the middle of a postal strike here, but somehow your parcel managed to sneak in between two strikes.
Funny! I do most of my library books through ILL, so I don't stand in line much. But I do constantly watch the ILL list online to see if I'm moving up at all. I feel like I've been waiting for the second Hunger Games book forever!

Thanks, Kerrie, I'll look forward to reading it.
I love the Unshelved comic.
ReplyDeleteThis one is oddly well-timed for you Kerrie. You have patience. If I have to wait too long I end up going and buying it myself.
