THE LONG WAY TO DIE (1987) appears in my little green book just on 20 years ago.

Kerrie - You picked a perfect example of a "Forgotten book!" I haven't read Frey for a long time, and never did get a chance to read this one. Time to go back and look for it...
ReplyDeleteI've read three of his writing books, and they're great stuff, but keep forgetting to try his fiction.
ReplyDeleteAccording to the summary, it includes a "drift of swans" and a "clutch of eggs," and I looked inside at amazon to see it has a muster of peacocks and a school of fish, but I don't recall the other specific contents.
