Carnival of Criminal Minds, No. 18

The Carnival has come to Paradise, hurtling at 100 kph along the O-Bahn to the home of Mysteries in Paradise.

Adelaide's North-East busway, commonly known as the O-Bahn, was the second of its kind in the world. Built in 1985, the concrete O-Bahn busway has since sparked a series of similar style roads in other major cities across the world. With limited access points and grade separated junctions, the road is only built for specially fitted buses. So get your ticket and ride!

The Carnival has already visited a number of very entertaining locations. Most recently it was at Do You Write Under Your Own Name with host Martin Edwards. I just hope your reading sack still has room for just a few more authors and titles, especially for some with an antipodean flavour.
It is my pleasure to list for your delectation some wonderful crime fiction authors from the land of Oz.

  1. Thanks for all this information Kerrie, especially the list of Ned Kelly winners.
Why is the NK 'short' list such a 'long' list?

  2. Thanks for visiting Uriah. I gather a short list will be announced in late July, early August. I notice also that there is a tendency for the prize to be "shared" by "tied" winners which is not something you see often in other awards.

  3. Yikes, those are long lists. And that means lots for we readers in this upside down Northern Hemisphere to discover. Thanks.
