For some time now people have suggested/requested an "official" Agatha Christie Reading Challenge signing up page.
See information about the Agatha Christie Reading Challenge here.
So here it is: Just add yourself. Once you have done that please leave a comment.
A "Mr Linky" should appear just below here. If it doesn't leave a comment anyway and I will add you when it reappears.
Why MYSTERIES? Because that is the genre I read.
Why PARADISE? Because that is where I live.
Among other things, this blog, the result of a 2008 New Year's resolution,
will act as a record of books that I've read, and random thoughts.

I wanted to make sure the system worked which is why I've added myself first. Anyway, just reporting that I've just finished number 11 on my list.
I'm taking a break from Dame Agatha for a bit, but I'll be back later. :)
I think this is really a challenge that fits my 2009 reading year - I find myself with a lot of Christie audiobooks, so I will start posting about these as I get through them. I have really been enjoying them. They make housework fun.
I'm enjoying reading AC books - as I find them, so not in the order they were published. I've recently finished The Body in the Library - post to follow soon.
I've calmed down to a book a month, Reading Fool. At 12 a year it will take me the best part of 8 years! I can see from my older records that I have read many of them before, but the strategy of reading them in publication order is worth the effort for me.
Belle, I hope you enjoy the audio books. my problem was that I found many of them are abridged. Beware of the ones that only run for an hour ot two.
Margaret, I really can recommend trying to find them in order! You get a different perspective on what she is trying to do.
Mr Linky seems to be malfunctioning this morning. I hope this is not permanent!
I agree with the challenge to read them in order of publication. In the past I've read all the Miss Marples and some of the Poirots but now that I'm going back and looking at them from the beginning I see how her writing developed. It's also as if I can see how she is trying on different characters and different ideas for plot lines. This is so much fun. Thanks Kerrie.
I am so glad to see this challenge. A friend who signed up for the challenge gave me the link. I'm in!
I think I have probably read them all in the past Margot, but randomly. Treating them like we do a modern series seems, as you say, give a better appreciation into her development as a writer and into the creation of new characters.
And you are very welcome Tea. Spread the word. What are you reading at present?
A reminder that next submissions to the ACRC Blog Carnival are due. Carnival #6 will be posted on June 23.
You can submit a good website you've found (doesn't have to be yours)
I am so excited!
This is such a cool idea. I've read a couple of her books, and I'm ready for more.
You are very welcome Maggie
Signing up for Agatha Christie Reading Challenge - Mr Linky has now been set up again
This is a lovely idea, I started my own Agatha Christie challenge this year and have been reading as many Agatha Christies as I can find in my local library. Even though there are so many, they are all unique and compelling! I think I'm probably halfway through her booklist.
Thanks
Vezo

Just signed up for 2011. I'm a big Christie fan and I've read a bunch of her stories, but I'm really looking forward to reading them all and in order of publication!
I think I've read them all, but now in order of publication, sounds good to me. I love Agatha, and re-reading is a pleasure.
You are very welcome Jenn
