Forgotten book: THE MASK OF DIMITRIOS, Eric Ambler
My contribution to Pattinase's Friday's Forgotten Books this week is a book that I have only recently read but a title that I have seen referred to often in my crime fiction addiction years.

I read this last year and loved it. Read a couple of his other books as well. I liked DIMITRIOS more than you did, I think. (The book, not the man. :) )
Plan to read a couple more Amblers this year.
Now that I've read him, I wonder why I waited so long.

Some consider this Ambler's best book. It certainly set the template for his future novels.
