For 3 days now we have been experiencing sandstorm in Abu Dhabi.
Tends to keep you inside. Temperatures have ranged from 38 to 45 C with winds up to 35 kmph.
How horrid, Kerrie. Have you seen the film Mission Impossible 4? I saw it for strange reasons, definitely not my choice of movie. But it takes place, in part, in your current part of the world & apart from the famous "vertigo on that famous skyscraper" scenes (truly stomach dropping) there is a chase in a sandstorm which looks just like your picture.
Wow. Was debating whether I should take a peek outside in Dubai during my longish layover at the airport, but if it is anything like Abu Dhabi weather there, I think I'll pass my time in air-conditioned comfort inside the airport. :)

I think I would rather have the cold weather we have been having here. Hopefully you are still enjoying your holiday.
