I love reading the work of new crime fiction authors, particularly discovering someone whom I can follow over the years. In 2012 I read 48, and in the year before I read 60, and in 2013 I read 59.
As you can see I found most of them a worthwhile read.

Kerrie - Some good reads there. I'm really quite glad you liked Traces of Red as much as you did. Of course, I'm a Paddy Richardson fan, but still... And I still haven't (yet) read The Cuckoo's Calling. That's on my 2014 list.
