Weekly Geeks 2009-26: Where in the World?

This week's Weekly Geeks task asks us to tell about our globe trotting via books. Are you a global reader? How many countries have you "visited" in your reading? What are your favorite places or cultures to read about?

I read a lot of crime fiction books set in the UK in particular, so I was surprised when my "map" of where I have been looked like this:
