Yes, you have done a great job with the global challenge and list books, many of which I want to try.
I wonder if on the global book challenge for next year, there could be some specifics, like including one or two or three historical books, but from specific eras; or including 3 books from Europe, but they must be from different countries, or a certain number must be new to you authors, let's say one from each continent.
Kathy, I think you could put whatever construct on the challenge that you want - mine is that I am including only crime fiction, and also that every novel must relate to a different country.
Some regions are harder than others just because of the number of countries. Europe, Asia and North America are easy but finding enough countries in Australasia is not! I've read loads set in Australia, and a couple by NZ authors, but New Guinea or Polynesia - not so many are available. African crime fiction also tends to be focused in one or two countries in the continent.
