My Take
A friend who is about to be inducted as the Bishop of Bendigo asks Phryne to attend his induction because he wants to discuss something with her. His predecessor had some concerns that had been raised by his Dean. But before the ceremony is over the Dean is dead, stabbed in the heart as he sat in his pew. And of course no one saw a thing!
Phryne and Dot become part of the investigation unravelling a number of themes which of course end up being connected.
This the author's last novel, not only the last in the Phryne Fisher series, but is also posted posthumously. Check the article about her on Wikipedia.
