I was recently tagged on a meme for this subject. Here's what I wrote:

I read because reading has always been there for me, from Dr. Seuss on up. I read because there is no better way to fill my time. I read because reading is like traveling without the hassle of waiting in security lines (but traveling by train is almost as good as reading). I read because I can put down a book, take a deep breath, and think about what I have just read. One cannot do this with the real world.

Thank you for the post/comment Peter. I discovered at work today that in order to comment in the VoiceThread itself you do have join VoiceThread, so I guess that is areason why no-one has yet

I read because of books, which stare at you on bookstores! I read because i enjoy observing the way of life on another people - and which better way than books ?

I discover your blog. I like it ! I'm french, but i like to see blogs on books in english. It's very funny to discover others books!
