Why do you read - tell me!

I was recently tagged on a meme for this subject. Here's what I wrote:

I read because reading has always been there for me, from Dr. Seuss on up. I read because there is no better way to fill my time. I read because reading is like traveling without the hassle of waiting in security lines (but traveling by train is almost as good as reading). I read because I can put down a book, take a deep breath, and think about what I have just read. One cannot do this with the real world.

Thank you for the post/comment Peter. I discovered at work today that in order to comment in the VoiceThread itself you do have join VoiceThread, so I guess that is areason why no-one has yet

It will interesting to see how VoiceThread works, and to see if people are shy about leaving comments that way.
