Sunday Salon #17 - 13 July 2008

A pretty busy week this week, lots of blog posting, and 3 book reviews. In fact I'm a bit later in writing this post because I wanted to finish my most recent read first.

Lots of interesting links, thanks! Interesting about Fyfeld. I really enjoyed Blind Date and confidently expected to like the rest of her work as much. But Perfectly Pure and Good annoyed me so much that I could barely finish it.

I really enjoyed "The temerity to write a review". It's interesting to see what others say about us "amateur reviewers".

Great list of links you've go there. "The Temerity To Write A Review" was fantastic. Personally I feel the amateur reviews are usually more honest and enjoyable to read.

I rather liked Perfectly Pure and Good, but I haven't read Frances Fyfield for a few years now. I must rectify that, particularly in the light of her just-awarded Dagger.

Kerrie, I am so impressed with the energy, organisation and fun of your blogging. In fact, I am lost in admiration. Well done to you. You deserve the "Bloggers' Dagger". (Why isn't there one?)

Thanks Maxine. I think blogging has become an addiction with me. I learn a lot too from the examples of my online friends (like you) too
